About PRISM
PRISM is Hong Kong's central LGBTQ+ directory and events calendar, designed to make it easy to find trusted resources, inclusive services, and community events across all 18 districts. We bring together what's often fragmented, so community members can quickly access support, connection, and opportunities in one place.
We are a community-driven initiative, built by LGBTQ+ advocates and volunteers who believe visibility and access are the foundation of a stronger, more connected community.
Prism symbolizes diversity and unity. Like a prism refracts light into colors, it reflects the LGBTQ+ community's richness and available resources. Light recombines into a single beam, symbolizing collective strength and shared purpose. Prism also embodies precision and progress, reminding us that light represents individuals and community working together.
Mission Statement
Platform for queer resources
PRISM is building Hong Kong's go-to platform for queer resources, connecting people to healthcare, community, culture, events and employment with full visibility across all 18 districts. We're here to make it easier for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community to find support, belonging, and opportunity.
Our Objectives
Equal platform for all voices
We connect queer-owned and affirming businesses, NGOs, corporate allies, health and support services, faith groups, community organizations, and individuals to create shared visibility and access.
Year-round unity
We strengthen ties across local Chinese-speaking, ethnic minority, and expat queer communities through an inclusive calendar of events and ongoing programming.
Sustainable ecosystem
We invest in enduring digital tools and signature events that go beyond Pride season, building a lasting infrastructure for queer empowerment in Hong Kong.
